‘Circular’ Newspaper Design (uni)
For this project, I was tasked with creating a Circular Newspaper Design for the company Typographic Circle and its series of Circular designs. The Circular Magazines they create are known for their big type and use of artists as the subject of their articles.
My approach to this project was a lot more playful than was expected. I chose to include many interesting ways to display the text and also show off unique typography manipulation techniques throughout the design, which was expected, but not to the degree I had done. However, it still fit within the brief, and my lecturer had enjoyed the difference in style between me and some of my peers, who had chosen a more formal route.
